Your Song "SANDMAN"
Great intro with the horns and with such a sweet voice with the band swinging to the groove. This is the kind of music that gets you up and moving to the beat. Nice job on the horns not alone the rest of the band also that sounds fantastic to let the singer do her thing and a real good recording that you can easily crank up the jams and start tapping your feet and shaking what your momma gave you. Write On~~~

I always love to hear what this band does....
I have the pleasure once again of reviewing one of my favorite bands on N1M ... as always the lyrics are interesting and vocals are delightful. This particular track might require a bit of fine tuning to be record and radio ready, in my opinion, but the purity of the effort comes through and shows once again why Moscato must be taken seriously as a potentially huge pop artist in the making. Moscato Soars
This original and very creative group from down under shows that rock can still have passion, melody and heart. Sandman begins with a great drum fill as it goes into a saxophone lead part joined by distorted rock guitar chords. The singer has a wonderful inviting voice, very smooth and pleasing to the listener. Although I believe this song could have been a bit longer and maybe a little more production on the guitar parts it is still a must listen on N1M !!!!

This is a nice lovely song Moscato. Using a instrument for lead (sounds like a sax), is pretty cool. I like the vocals a lot. Its just enough mix of distortion to balance the heavy sound aspects as well with the sax, gives a soulful element to the song. Excellently, well done. I am going to give this song a 5.0. I really like this song a lot. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to review this song. It was a pleasure to listen to. The sky is the limit for Moscato!

Juxtaposed
I was intrigued by the description and title of the song. So, we're off to a good start. The saxophone surprised me. It's an interesting juxtaposition to the heavily distorted guitar. The vocals have a great passion behind them. I like the lyrics. Man, there's some good stuff coming out of Oz these days. Love the breakdown. I expected it to go back into the chorus though. I feel the saxophone is a bit too "in your face" - lower in the mix might have suited the song better. Or maybe some more reverb or something. Overall, I think it's a good, unique song

Nice feel and worthy of another Listen
I really can appreciate the feeling and mood of the song. I truly love the sax and believe it helps the song but at time I feel it over powers the vocals. And I also really like the vocals. Keep up the good work. My mother and both enjoyed it. PASQUALLY

Well done
First of all, I should say the saxophone is generally not a sound that appeals to me. Despite that, this song is intriguing and well-written. The mix sounds very professional. The cymbal work on the drums is recorded very nicely. Nice finish. Good song

Cool song, I like the vocals most. Such an "innocent" voice. The instrumentals are also very well recorded. Only the drums could "drive" a bit more. Are you still pretty Young? I would guess so. Keep on rocking, guys, well done.

Wake Up!
I love the sax intro on this - super sexy though it almost shadows the female vocalist at the beginning when the two merge. She's got a cute sound and carries a great tune - it's nearly like the guitar is too much for her voice - she would be great doing a Celine Dion type of song. It's like this song has a lot of "stars" on it - the sax, the guitar, the singer - all are good, but competing for the spotlight.

great stuff
I like a lot of there music, Moscato... The way a song starts means a lot and yours starts nicely and stays on the groove with the saxophone making it 'pop'. I only have 1 'small' suggestion if I may say. It's about the saxophone....nothing bad, but in the middle break and in between rides ~ if he/she could do 'false' fingering high notes making it scream some....it'll take it to a higher level of interest. Making the song 'pop' even 'more'. Try it as you improvise, and watch what I mean. Good Luck in you Music Adventure, my friends.....

Moscato brings us Sandman, a hard pressing upbeat blues tune reminiscent of groups like Patty Smyth and Scandal but with a saxophone. From a listener's point of view its got a good driving down the highway beat to it. From the producer's point of view I would have added a guitar track on the left with a different soundscape but with that same tracking. If there is one there, its barely audible. I would have also liked to have heard a little more bass guitar in the mix. I could tell it was there, but it could have been a bit more involved in the building dynamic of the song during its course.

Interesting mix of genres
Lots of different musical influences here: rock, reggae, funk, and some ska. Singer is melodic and excellently on key. Her vocal style, combined with the music, reminds me a bit of No Doubt/Gwen Stefani. The song is easy listening. Great musicianship all around, from the guitars, drums, and blazing saxophone. Recording mix is expertly done: no single instrument drowns the others out, even the sax, which plays at background volume during the verses and comes to the fore during its solos. Overall a great song!

Nice vocals. I dg the sax in this. I like to see folks who aren't afraid to use horns or other instruments that aren't typical in whatever genre they're in. Good solid playing on this tune. Everyone seems to be strong at their instruments. Such a nice voice here. I am totally blown away by the vocals and melody throughout this song. The melody from the vocals as well as the horns. I like the song. I am anxious to hear more from these folks. Good work Moscato!
