Mr Boonekamp is a punk-grunge band founded by D- bass, Vladi-drums and Volt-voice & guitar in 2007.
You can call ‘em punk, horror garage, porno grunge, psycho stoner but they are Mr Boonekamp. Mr Boonekamp is a punk-grunge band founded by Daniele -D- Gobbi (bass), Vladimiro -Vladi- Favaro (drums) and Francesco -Volt- Voltan (voice & guitar) in the summer of 2007.
These guys lived their musical adventure like a moment for having fun and partying, so their songs came to light rapidly, driven to the harmony between them and their desire to transmit the energy they got and they still have it!
Several songs took shape in few months and thanks to fortuitous circumstances they started to play gigs in a short time after their birth.
Mr Boonekamp songs are raw, direct and especially full of distortion, their sound can be related to different musical genres such as grunge, punk, stoner and garage and the lyrics speak about sex, violence and maniacs.
2008 was a year of growth for the band: Lorenzo-Doc-Petri (now in the band Gli Sportivi) joined them sharing his experience and contributing greatly to their musical maturation.
Between the end of 2008 and throughout 2009, Mr Boonekamp wandered around the Triveneto area playing their music in a variety of live performances and astonishing people for the natural way they live the stage, mainly due to their energy and abi
