About Mr IIZ

On January 26, 1977 in the cool cool hills of a little district call Ballynure in Manchester Jamaica Boswell Johnson Jr aka Mr IIZ ( pronounced EYES ) was born. He attended Harry Watch All Age school, after leaving Harry Watch All Age school he attended Mile Gully High.

At a early age he developed a love and passion for music and drama which saw him performing at church concerts and community events.
In 1994 he found that he had a passion for reggae/dancehall music by 1997 he wrote his first song which he recorded but he never released. In 2003 he migrated to the United States where he continued doing his writing, by 2011 he released his first song ( MOVE U BODY ) on the SpeedyG Production that got a steady rotation in Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada, Canada, The UK and Africa. and this lead him to sign a contract in 2012 with Jamlink Production headed by Desmond Ferguson. Under the Jamlink Production Label he released (3) three songs "Galactic Gallis", "The Pledge" and "She Dem Ready" which are. Currently being sold on (expired link), (expired link) and (expired link).

After seeing successes of 2013, in 2014 Mr IIZ released "Wine Pon It" on his own label Mriizmuzik Production. Mr IIZ has also done collaboration with artist such as Guidance, Fireness Intense and US base Rapper M-Jay.
Mr. IIZ fan base is steadily growing following successful performances in Grenada, Jamaica, North America and Canada.

When asked about his music Mr IIZ reply is,
" My kind of music is feel-good music, with a conscious vibes, metaphors that play with your mind and lyrics that make you want to get on the dance floor and party"
