You have heard it declared in times past that there will be a third great awakening, The Lord would declare to you this day that you will be astounded with that which He will be doing in the days to come. For there are many in the valley of decision, and they will turn to the Lord so that He might heal not only their bodies, but He will also heal their hearts. For there are many who will give their hearts to the Lord. There are many who will turn to the Lord for the first time, there are also many whose hearts have grown cold, they have drifted away from having a relationship with the Lord. But He is drawing them by His Spirit, He is placing a hunger in their hearts to know HIm. For as they turn to the Lord with all of their hearts, He will forgive them, He will heal them and He will restore to them all that the enemy has stolen from them.

For the Lord would ask of you this day: “Is there anything too hard for your God to accomplish in and through His people?” Seek after Me as never before. Spend time in My presence in worship and in prayer. For I love to hear the worship and the prayers of My people. For you will experience an ‘open heaven’ of My presence in your lives. You will experience ‘times of refreshing’ in the presence of your God. For I will wipe away the tears of My people. I will restore their joy and their laughter. For they will behold in the days to come a fresh outpouring of My Spirit in their lives. They will behold their God in a new and living way. For I love My people with an everlasting love. I indeed am a God who is for My people. The scripture declares: “If God be for you who can be against you – no one.” So, know this day with a certainty in your heart that the Lord loves you, the Lord will heal you, the Lord will indeed restore to you all that the enemy has stolen from you. For the Lord is watching over His Word to perform it in the lives of His people

Belief in Jesus is a miracle produced only by the effectiveness of redemption, not by impressive speech, nor by wooing and persuading, but only by the sheer unaided power of God. The creative power of redemption comes through the preaching of the gospel, but never because of the personality of the preacher.

Real and effective fasting by a preacher is not fasting from food, but fasting from eloquence, from impressive diction, and from everything else that might hinder the gospel of God being presented. The preacher is there as the representative of God— “…as though God were pleading through us…” (2 Corinthians 5:20). He is there to present the gospel of God. If it is only because of my preaching that people desire to be better, they will never get close to Jesus Christ. Anything that flatters me in my preaching of the gospel will result in making me a traitor to Jesus, and I prevent the creative power of His redemption from doing its work.
