MUTATION URBAINE started in 2008 by Alexandre Garcia, alias "Le Hibou" (The
Owl).
The project's name was inspired by 'Périphériques', the book by Maurice G Dantec.
MUTATION URBAINE can be considered as a virtual cinematic projection,
incorporating painting, photography, music and poetry, as though images and music became one.
The 1st demo, "Ville Imaginaire" (6 works) was released in 2009 by the net label
Moscow Clinical Archives, and has been downloaded 25,000 times...an immense joy
for me!
The 1st album, "A Travers La Nuit" (7 works, 2014) was released on Bandcamp, and includes the piece "Sombre, humide et froid" which was inspired by Jim Morrison's poetry in "Lords of the new creatures".
The project is expanding!
