MUTE TX has a sound that's best described as, "dark rock mixed with heavy metal grooves."
Pearsall, TX's original Gothic/Melodic/Metal band originally formed in 2000 by brothers Dez, Kail and Jun Nieto creating a sound unique to the Mute Tx. With vocals influenced their love for harmonies. This lead to grueling sessions of sweat, blood and tears in the Texas heat preparing the unique sound which they would from that day forth be known for. With a Melodic Soulful/Gothic Metal sound Mute took to the stage and playing on the bill with such bands as Fair To Midland and Pitbull Daycare and have since shared the stage with such legends as Metal Church Guitarist David Wayne. The White Rabbit was the venue that helped solidify their love and respect for the (expired link) metal scene in the early 2000's along with San Antonio historic venue TacoLand, during the era of Metal in San Antonio when such bands as Union Underground and Pitbull Daycare were breaking into the national scene. Mute has released 3 albums including the 2019 release of Resurrection on Misanthropik Records and are currently working on the anticipated release of Take the Throne. The band was signed to Misanthropik Records June 25 , 2019
The New line up consists of all family members: Dez Nieto - Lead Vocals, Kail Cross - Drums, Isaiah Brokn - Lead Guitar/Vocals, Eric Gonzales - Lead Guitar, Jun Nieto - Rhythm Guitar/Screams, Jack LaDue- Bass.
