Last dance

This a pretty country song in the traditional style. Heartbreaking and haunting in it's melody. This makes you want to grab your sweetheart for one more dance before the nights over.. If you've heard "legends" on my site you'll see I sing about this type of country song that we used to love but see so little of nowadays...Way too much Pop music in country that drifts away from Mikes style of music that really is what Country is about!

Very nice track!

I really enjoyed this song. The steel guitar & twin fiddles are wonderful! The lyrics are tender and well delivered. The vocalist is on pitch & in the pocket with the track! Waltzes are my favorite so I'm a huge fan now! Awesome production on a well written song! Wishing you success!

Dance away!

From the steel guitars and fiddles this is a traditional country waltz. It brings to mind the memories of yore when country was VFW halls and smoky bars. Conway and Loretta would fit right in with this. The instruments are spot on and the modulation was right on cue. I notice the artist is from Montana and I'm sure that this is a big favorite up there in God's country. Keep twanging those bar room memories and best wishes.

A nice tune

What a beautiful song! I was transformed into another dimension and kissed by angels. The lyrics are divine! The vocals accompany the lyrics so beautifully and creates this magical atmosphere for the song. The instruments give that song the classic country feel and I love it so much. Keep up the good work and keep on rocking. You’ve got a very bright future ahead of you.

Old school

I like the steel guitar however there's nothing going on here the click of the drum track is not very appealing there's a monotone in the voice that neither goes high or low no Bridge however you could dance a country step to this particular song indeed

Old Time Country Love song

From the first note of the pedal steel the sound of this song hearkens back to the golden era of country music. A bittersweet story about the love of a man and a woman that's grown tepid over the years is both compelling and real. Life, love, and long term commitment comes with a price and sometimes that price is the fire and passion in exchange for companionship. This song is a man's plea to his faithful wife to please come join him and relive what brought them together in the first place, just for a li'l while on the dance floor. The dance hall is an integral part of what made country music what it is today and Mike Bryant is here to remind us of that fact with this timeless classic country love song. He really has a knack for doing that...and he does it so well here indeed.

Great tradition country sound!

This song has a great traditional old country sound! I felt like I stepped back in time to the days of artists like Conway Twitty and Patsy Cline! Mike has a smooth tradition country voice that flows great with this slow, romantic, dance song! I love the instrument use in this song as well! Steel guitar just adds so much to a traditional country song.

For anyone who doesn't know, Slicethepie is a music review site where ordinary members of the public can join up free as a scout (also called reviewer), listen to new songs, and write a short review about the song for a small payment. Each review is just the member's opinion of the song and/or artist. No special musical skill or knowledge is required as the site wants the opinion of the wide general public. In recent years, it has also enabled members to give reviews on fashionable clothes and phone cases, but those are more of a sideline, so this article is only concerned with the music side of Slicethepie and how to write song reviews. As an experienced reviewer on Slicethepie and musician, I wrote this article to advise new scouts on how to write reviews that can be more helpful to the artist, even if they (the reviewers, not the artists) don't have any formal background in music.

Please Dance This Last Dance (with me)

Music is very nice, but I believe it should and be slowed down just a bit. Also the music break is a bit long, Although the concept is the basic country song, lost her, wish I had her back, and now there is a chance, But I do like the wording of this song. Lost in the music, but thinking about what went wrong. The please dance with me is a very good use of remorse. All in all I liked the song and I think it only needs a tweak here and there to become a hit.

I find Please Dance This Last Dance (with me) is very well recorded, and you sang the song extremely well. This is the way I hear it. Lyrics are quite pleasant and make you want to listen to the song right to the end. I like your song. I will share this song :) Musically Yours, Guy Leroux
