Nate Collinsworth is a devoted trumpet player with a background in many different styles of music. From the House of Blues, to live shows on elegant cruise ships, to touring with Grammy-winning artists, Collinsworth’s relaxed approach to high standards of musicianship makes the audience want more every time.
In stints with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity & Azamara cruise lines, plus shows with Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Ben Vereen, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormè, Collinsworth developed a reputation as a confident master of his horn and a strong musical leader. He has traveled to more than 50 countries and all 50 states during his career. As a studio musician for Bradley House Studios he has performed on numerous CDs.
His musical training includes the Berklee College of Music,Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and the Virginia Governor’s Magnet School for the Arts. He also spent 4 years in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music.
In his spare time he enjoys martial arts, fencing and reading.
