Neicy Redd Da Gawdess is a neo soul, rnb, neo-gospel and hip-hop singer-songwriter on independent recording label, Sipp (expired link). Records, LLC. She takes pride in never sticking to one particular genre. Most creative when she has freedom to be who she wants to be in her artistry, Neicy Redd began singing and songwriting at the age of 11 and began doing gospel music in 2007. Crossing over and giving herself creative control as an artist, she released her first RnB mixtape, Slowly but Showly, in 2015. Her favorite programs to record on are pro tools and fruity loops. All of her producers so far have been independent creators local to the areas she has resided in, which include the Mississippi Delta as well as Houston, TX. Da Gawdess began running her own publishing company, Gawdess Gang, in 2018 which she has big plans for in 2019. As an artist She hopes to one day break the mold of Singers only being able to create within one genre pool at a time.
