Someone brought up how much money I’m making in regard to my music. The way I feel about that is that it ultimately doesn’t matter to me as long as I am happy. Most of what I want doesn’t require me to be rich anyway. All I really want to do is spend my time making music, watching anime and playing video games. I enjoy the conversations I have with people about these things and I enjoy the adventures I have when I travel to perform. When it all comes down to it, I never really remember the moments I got paid. I remember the moments I spent with other people. I have ambition, but at the same time I don’t want to base my worth on the opinions of others nor on how much money I make. I’d rather love myself and be happy than stress myself over money my entire life. And I don’t want to work so much that the next thing I know I’m dead and I realize I spent my entire life working for money and not for happiness. I am just going to enjoy this journey wherever it takes me. I will always push myself to be the best artist I can be, but I won’t let money or opinions sway my decisions. I got a new job and it made me question if working in the entertainment industry was for me. There are starving people out there and so many people waste so much food without a care. People are so self-centered and want you to do so much for them in return for so little…if anything at all. People are so disrespectful to so many serious issues. There is just so much to the mentality of people that I really don’t like. If it was based off of dealing with respectful and considerate people, then it wouldn’t be a problem, but I felt like I was surrounded by so many wild beasts that cared for no life beyond their own. I don’t want to be surrounded by that type of mentality. I have almost all of the beats that I will be using for my album. The rest of them I can’t get right now, because Paypal decided to review my transaction for some reason and now I have to wait for that to finish.
