Alan Gowa's new release "Gowa-Tronic" is distributed by Blue Buddha Productions in association with 7d Media. The music is a unique combination of Progressive Rock/Electronic music and Heavy Rock guitar. Alan has opened shows for many blues and classic rock greats including: Chuck Berry, The Marshall Tucker Band, surf guitar legend Dick Dale, Edgar Winter, John Mayall’s Blues Breakers, (expired link), Roy Rodgers (slide guitar master and Grammy winning producer of John Lee Hooker), The Hooters, The Kentucky Headhunters, Chuck Berry pianist Johnny Johnson and The Sun Records Rhythm Section (session musicians on Elvis Presley's recordings). He has also opened shows for Pat Metheny bassist Mark Egan, Chapman Stick inventor Emmett Chapman. Alan and Stickmen which features Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto (of King Crimson) and Markus Reuter. His performance with poet John Lunar Richie of the NY jazz band Machine Gun was released as “Live at Lucky” on Musso Music and is available on most streaming platforms.

Alan performs as a solo artist utilizing a technique called looping. As the guitar is being played the music is recorded into a looping delay pedal. New layers of sound are added "live" including guitar synthesizer sounds (bass, keyboards, orchestra and percussion) to create a more full and interesting sound. The music can be performed in any style and can be different at each performance.

Alan also performs with various cover bands playing guitar, bass and upright bass and gives guitar and bass lessons online and teaches privately in Monmouth County NJ.
