(expired link) NEWGOON is a 23 yr old destined and determined Hip-hop/Rap artist raised in the Midwest. Growing up as a child he listen to all types of music but what caught his attention the most was the inspiration of instrumentals. Practicing and practicing, after years of writing he actually put his mind to what inspired him the most. Josh Keith aka NEWGOON was in a accident back in July of 2011 which landed him in the burn unit of St. John's hospital in Springfield Mo! Five mortal shells went off in his car while he was driving that cause severe full thickness burns to both legs and feet. Skin graph surgery and 2,000 staples later, he indured physical therapy pushing himself through rehabilitation to walk and gain full mobility. His wake up call... (Life's to short.) This young man determined to regain full capability of everything he lost picked up a new sight in life, expression through words. Now on the journey to success he's made a complete and full recovery and is making his dreams reality!

His freshman year album "Midwest Boyz" produced by Inner State Productions and CEO/Owner- Dustin Webb has been out since Feb 24, 2012! Available on ITunes, Amazon, Spotify & etc. Opening up for some big national names such as "Strange Music's" own Kutt Calhoun & Ces Cru! Also Frayser Boy, Lord Infamous from 36Mafia, Bizzare from D12, Indiana's own Dre-D-One and even Chingy!! With his own article in the local SGF TAG Magazine, nothing but positive things about this stunning artist was said!! Many more opportunities to come!
