About Ángel Strife

Àngel Strife is a Independent producer and songwriter born on Maiquetia. He began his musical career in 2008 as part of rock bands of the Island Of Margarita moved and in 2013 , we presented a pilot project based dreampop , indie folk, rock, psychedelia , some flirtations with shoegaze and lo-fi sound , which has generated the entry and acceptance in all the national music scene in Venezuela.

Angel Rafael Cova Blanco, his real name, is cuatro , guitar , programming , multi-instrumentalist , songwriter and performer. Through his artistic side seeks to capture in his work an organic proposal by ambient sounds captured by the island of Margarita , and her housework . In several interviews the musician has said that what he enjoys most is the total freedom you have when it comes to work and therefore does not cling to musical genres , but their bases are ambient and lo- fi . Hence , the natural character of his music.

This festival is considered one of the most representative showcase of pop -rock in Venezuela , compiling the best of alternative talent through competitions at regional scales where clusters with greater musical quality and best presence on stage are selected to play in the capital in a final where the best country artist or group is chosen.

Strife is undoubtedly one of the new talents at national level which need to be very aware because everything that has been projected is just an open mouth to a musical proposal that perhaps the way to a major transition for all indie movement in Venezuela.
