I am not a booking agent but have worked all over the world basically doing contractual agreements for my self. YOU TOO can do that if you want and save the 20% of the pay as many agencies require they get paid before you do and the contract is often based on all your prior work performing documented. Union Agents legit ones require a license in the State of their office so you will know plus a place to find them is to talk with an act already booked in a venue WHO is their agent. IF you are equal to that act with as much experience they will gladly book you. Also no having the credits verifiable very few will get you a booking since there is no security on their work doing that as trying to sell as new food no one has tasted. Isn't easy. Lots of work but it can be done Independently especially when you learn the business www.cjp-nhrecords.com has a way to pay to learn how not to waste your time or money with those who do not really know but talk like they do. I wrote a song like that "Hot Talkin Big Shot" once I found out the truth of an actor who wanted me to join him across the country ...ahem... Hello to anyone following my lifelong music recording career & my N1M website supporters. I’ve had a lot of original songs when I was test marketing the three a day I would write & perform. The time to feel & see the responses from listeners was my way of knowing if they were worth the investors $ to record and market forward. I still hope those on N1M will let me know their favorite ones on this page. I have one or two recorded songs per month of every year. I just have to change them more often as CJPStaff takes the positive responses & posts online too. So please keep letting me know which song and why you like one or another Nikki Hornsby song. Thank you as writing & playing instrument while singing is not worth it without some one to hear it. Trees falling in a forest aren’t heard either. Read moreToday on my desk the Ballot is waiting as I have to listen to top five in the fields and categories of the Top 5 of the nominations in the voting process. I am honored to be one of the voting professional members out of more than 24k NARAS membership to help the talents get their golden Grammy award. Remembering that it's the highest award in my opinion because its based on the merit of the production aka product and not the hype of paid for marketing to generate sales of the product for the charts. This merit base award gives the independent artist a chance as long as they can reach the NARAS voting members to consider their commercially released recorded product.
This process happens in two steps each year. So here I go with my Logitech headset listening through (expired link) and then marking down into my hard copy ballot. There are five in each field & category which are still outstanding as I helped choose the top five as well.
This makes my holiday the best with music all around me. There are other opinionated biographical data online that is not correct calling her a country singer so verification helps in understanding the lifelong career of Nikki Hornsby who writes songs in different genre and languages. She has composed some songs for many years in Pop to Rock styles. Nikki Hornsby was raised in Northern VA around Washington DC and her formal education was in VA & NC.
