Today on my desk the Ballot is waiting as I have to listen to top five in the fields and categories of the Top 5 of the nominations in the voting process. I am honored to be one of the voting professional members out of more than 24k NARAS membership to help the talents get their golden Grammy award. Remembering that it's the highest award in my opinion because its based on the merit of the production aka product and not the hype of paid for marketing to generate sales of the product for the charts. This merit base award gives the independent artist a chance as long as they can reach the NARAS voting members to consider their commercially released recorded product. This process happens in two steps each year. So here I go with my Logitech headset listening through www.grammypro.com and then marking down into my hard copy ballot. There are five in each field & category which are still outstanding as I helped choose the top five as well. This makes my holiday the best with music all around me.
