Every songs has a story( behind It )..and Music Publishers and Radio Stations do not care mach about It..They hear The Song and if They listen longer than 10 sec ( this is a good news),, any how.. I like The Arrangement but Vocal is not so good ( singer in some parts is OFF The Tune..( which is no go in today Music World )..is ok to be[perform at Life Concert but for Music Insiders this recording is not on the level They will accept.. I wish You good luck with submissions..Good job..

Hey there Nick. First of all, I have to say that I really appreciate any song with such a positive message as yours. The ways that you have chosen the words to describe the occasions on which to stand like a man, I could actually envision the scenes unfold; great job. Great work on all of the instruments, and a great voice you have for the rock genre. Just because of the way that I am hard wired, my ear picks up on how many syllables are packed into a phrase. If there are too many, or if they do not fit evenly within the meter of the tune (say 9 or 11) in a 4/4 set up, I tend to go ewww. There are a couple of places where this occurs, but you have almost arranged things so as to make the song come out a bit jazzy. lol (i.e. My grandfather instead of my grandpa or my granddad) All in all, great job my friend. keep spinnin great yarns with the positive and you will always have a loyal following. A story in song of a man that stood that could not stand but did! Instruments laid it out and backed up a great set of vocals with super story line, the guitar picked out the melody and the drums give it the beat that makes you want to tap your toes. I have no reseverations about recommending this tune for you to listen to! Nick brings you a nice tune with strong vocals and some great picking in delivering a strong message of encouragement! Thanks for sharing. I find this tune interesting. Storytelling is truly an art. The band is good, the song is well mixed. Your vocal is out front right where it should be. The guitar player is very good, band is tight so going into the studio must have been FUN. God bless in all you do and keep on keepin on.

Good guitar, good voice timbre and words. What I feel is that the voice stays too much with the same mood and it looks like it does not interpret the song, but rather symply tells a story. In my opinion, the song deserves more "atmosphere". Anyway, nice to listen to.
