In March of 2006, producer Jeff Schnewies (Number One Gun Tooth & Nail Records) recorded the bands first EP entitled Progression. Originally a 5 song EP, Progression quickly became the bands driving force of success for the months to follow. Not only receiving amazing feedback from fans all over the internet on (expired link) and (expired link), in May of 2006 the band was included in (expired link). Magazines Band of the Month section. After doing much of their own touring and internet promotion, Nothing Ever Stays was approached by Ace Enders of REGULAR MUSIC RECORDS. The band later signed with Regular Music and re-released Progression with additional acoustic songs Leave this all behind and The Revenge of Holden Caulfield that were recorded in Atascadero at Rockwell Sou
