This year for Omen Faculty has been very rewarding in its successes through endeavors from being featured on a compilation album, my first online radio interview, getting airplay on various radio stations, and getting positive feedback on the latest release SOUNDS OF THE SIXTEENTH DUNGEON. My biggest fear with this body of work was that it would come off overwhelming, forced, or rushed in the perspective of fans. But from what I’ve received in responses, people actually liked it and some even loved it. With a work consisted of 60 songs which definitely broadcasted musical fusion of everything I personally listen to, some people, to my surprise, wanted more. From the likes of Bowie, Johnny Cash, Celldweller, KMFDM which have become my latest musical inspirations, I wanted to bring that to light through my music. Which obviously impressed people and gave me motivation to continue on that path without having to go backwards. The hardest part of this was the promotion aspect of it and I’m not talking about the money part either – trust me, $20 a month in promotions will help in some degree or so. But the difficulty in the promotion was trying to figure out which main genre (not sub-genres) I heavily fall into. I’m not entirely metal, I’m not entirely industrial, I’m not entirely rock. Did I get a lot of misses when I promoted Omen Faculty in the metal genre – yes, probably because I wasn’t straight-forward metal or they felt that I suck, who knows and who cares. I was more content and focused on where I hit and all the positive results that came out of it. As long as I wasn’t a major failure with Omen Faculty or with SOUNDS OF THE SIXTEENTH DUNGEON, I’m very happy I got somewhere than nowhere or having to go backwards.
What’s next for Omen Faculty in 2018 – I wish I have a definite answer and not leave you guys with an empty promise of a new release. I am working on new music and probably will be throughout the year. Since I’m a music junkie or audiophile and always buying instruments and software, the list of songs just keeping getting longer and longer. With projects in the works that consist of the following: a series of new music of course, a series of cover songs, a series of re-recordings of my older material, and an EP of re-recordings of selected songs from my previous musical entities “Year of The Antichrist” and “Psykho Alejandro”. So, who’s to say when I’ll be finished with any of the upcoming projects. But, each one will be spaced out between each other so I don’t have to feel that I’m overwhelming you guys. In addition, I’m gonna be kinda under a rock next year while trying to finish up a fraction of these projects. So keep posted for updates.
To everyone who supported and helped out Omen Faculty throughout this year and over the years, a sincere thanks and gratitude to you all. Every little support and help matters to me and is sincerely appreciated.

Hey people, hope all is well with everyone,
It’s been four months to this day that the 4-album series SOUNDS OF THE SIXTEENTH DUNGEON, along with the 9-song EP, BETWEEN HELL AND PURGATORY, was released in stores. Just wanted to take the time out to say thanks to everyone who checked it out, gave positive feedback on the songs, and/or got themselves a songs or so. Special thanks to Turkey Vulture Records for featuring the song "I Am A Machine" on one of their compilations that came out at the start of this year; OFNR Radio for giving me my first online radio interview; and also all the other radio stations playing Omen Faculty worldwide. Everyone's support of Omen Faculty means a lot to me and no words can describe my appreciation.
Here's an update on Omen Faculty: I'm currently working on another series entitled "OMEN FACULTY II" in celebration of Omen Faculty's 20-year anniversary in less than three years - yeah, a ways away but it'll be worth it. I'm heavily writing new material, along with working on cover songs and re-recording a large catalog of my old material that will be featured on deluxe editions. Maybe even some remixes and acoustic guitar and piano version of certain songs will be included. Ideas are still being evaluated at the moment. With this series it will be spread out more than release it all on one particular day so I don't overwhelm you guys as I probably did with SOUNDS OF THE SIXTEENTH DUNGEON.
Once again, thanks for your support and take care.

Hey people! Good news - the music for the new Omen Faculty albums, SOUNDS OF THE SIXTEENTH DUNGEON, VOLUMES 1 & 2, are finished! I'm currently shopping for an artist to design two album covers, also plan to start heavy promotions in late summer/fall this year. The release date for both LPs is January 13th, along with the revised 9-song EP entitled Between Hell and Purgatory, containing B-sides during the recording sessions between 2012 and 2015.
During the recording process, I've recorded hundreds of songs both original material and cover songs. And continuing to do so, but that's another story. All I can say is that I have no definitive idea what to come of these songs but to expect something in the years to come.
Stay tuned for more updates. Later people.

Omen Faculty's music is well-known for being unsteady, ranging from goth, hardcore, extreme, and industrial metal. Heavily influenced by metal pioneers like Type O Negative, Fear Factory, Machine Head, and Ministry; and captivated fans with LPs like "The Origin of Evil [2006]', "All That Matters [2009]", their 2010 self-titled release, and the latest "Everything Ends [2011]". This project is a monster with its own unique drive.
