ONEROAD was born in 2001 in Maracaibo, Venezuela, created by Eduardo Villalobos (singer, songwriter and guitarist) and Erwin Mendt (Producer, Keyboars , with the idea of making a new Rock sound combining some of the elements of British rock, Alternative Rock , Punk Rock and Pop Rock. In 2002 the band recorded their first single in English, which is played on the venezuelan radio nationally with great public acceptance. During 2003 and 2004, the band continues to record singles in both English and Spanish and also doing some live performances locally. In 2005 the band decides to embark on the recording of their first album independently. After more than 2 years of recording, mixing and mastering, the album is finally finished in 2007, but it will not be until 2008 when the band releases it. "UNO" is the name of oneroad's first studio album and it contains 10 original tracks, each one of the tracks was recorded with its Spanish version and its English version. All of the songs in "UNO" were written by Eduardo Villalobos and produced by Erwin Mendt who also recorded and programmed all drums and keyboards.
