Great Hip Hop Song
Ok. First off O'Von obviously took the time to put the elements of a song together that can go big on radio. IF YOU WAS MY GIRL has a clean and well sung hook, great track, bars are on point. Basicly radio and djs need to jump on this. You can rock with this in a club, a house party, bbq.. and this is meant for the LADIES. You can't go wrong here. Very well done! I'm a fan!

Real nice rap/ rng original sound of the 90s era
If you want a dose of some real vibes that hip hop is grounded in then this tune will get you snapping your fingers and dancing while you are doing the dishes! This is a great song, love the concept, it is tried and tested... listen to G Unit's I wanna get to know you... an O'Von has pulled out a great one to add to the collection. A party track for sure and for sure something you can listen to with the whole family... Hip Hop is based on family.

O'Von! This is a really cool, catchy track. Real easy to follow along, flows fit the track perfectly, and I can catch everything you say. My only critique is that the Chorus feels a little thin. I feel like that main melody for the chorus needs to be doubled, trippled, and some of the takes panned a lil bit. Maybe a lil more reverb. Overall this is a GREAT track!

Was up homie! I just wanna say first of all that's a nice track completely deferent from what I usually ear. With that being said you really did a good job behind the mic, at first I was a Lil bit skeptical about it but when I played it a few times I finally got the groove I was looking for but you have to be patient and study the record first. O'Von review
Overall, solid song. I like to nit pick songs only for the purpose of giving a fellow artist something constructive to work on. With this song I would say the beat is just a lil too repetative. A break down somewhere in the middle would have been a good addition. This would allow you to write a bridge to help bring back the hook or a verse. Just a little something to break up the predictable hook-verse-hook arrangement. Maybe fade out the main horn melody and just solo the drums with a bridge then build back up to bringing the horns back in. This would make the song a little longer. I think the sweet spot for songs are 3:15 to 3:30 in length. Other than that good shit homie and keep up with your hustle.
