About Pamela Harper-Bowman

Pamela Harper-Bowman shares her passion for music through her work as a inspirational performing artist, music specialist (k-12), music instructor (voice), vocal clinician, minister of music, worship leader, and vocal coach.

Pamela's vocal talent was first noticed by her mother. She credits her mother as her first music teacher, performance coach and manager. At a very early age, she began publicly performing tunes of various genres. However, she was first classically trained by her 7th grade choral director Mrs. Cynthia Hicks. She later immensely developed her diverse vocal skills at South Carolina State(College) University. Her degrees include a (expired link) in Music Education (focus vocal music), and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education from Walden University.

Throughout the military career of her husband who is a retired veteran, she became a very sort after vocalist for jazz, country, chorales, R&B, pop, gospel groups and musical theater productions. She has been award numerous awards for her vocal abilities. Her musical theater skills granted her awards such a best artists/vocalist in a musical production. The productions include: Motown Revue: Porgy and Bess and Purlie. She has shared her talents in Europe and the United States.

Currently, she works full-time as a Music Specialist with children of special needs and general music for grades k-5. Her in between time and weekends is spent sharing her vocal gift at special events, funerals, concerts, conducting workshops for church choirs (all age groups) vocal workshops for band members (various genres) and vocal lessons via skype (expired link) and sharing music from her self- produced gospel CD “SOON”. Pamela Harper-Bowman has dedicated her life musically sharing her knowledge, experiences, and heart with all ages. She is honored to be acquainted with a mighty GOD.
