Hi Friends,
As an singer/songwriter and as a mom, my biggest hope is that my daughter, Anna, who suffers with an extreme anxiety disorder called Selective Mutism feels free one day to use her voice to sing if she wants to. I can't imagine a life where I couldn't use my voice to connect with the world around me ... with song or otherwise.
Selective Mutism keeps Anna from speaking, let alone singing. I am reaching out to fans and others in an effort to raise funds for Anna so that we can get her the help she needs to overcome this disorder. I've listed the site below, but if it doesn't show up, you can find it on the youcaring.com site under "please help anna find her brave voice". All the information you need is there explaining the condition and how we plan to use the funds. Anyone donating will receive updates. If you can't give (and even if you can!) please share this link with others. Not only to help raise funds, but to raise awareness for Selective Mutism, which is more prevalent than Autism, but lacks professionals who know how to diagnose or treat these kids suffering in silence.
