A new day is dawning to mobilize into action as we come together for the well-being of our planet, defining our boundaries, refining the details, and strengthening our supports. This is the year to pour more loving, nurturing energy into the things that truly sustain you. The Mahabhuta Yoga Festival is a celebration honoring our radiant Gulf Coast community where we join together our hearts to awaken the highest potential in one another for the highest good of all.

The 2018 seventh annual Mahabhuta Yoga Festival happening November 9- 11, 2018, in breathtaking Pensacola, Florida at Sanders Beach is honoring the Year of the Earth Dog. Yes, the festival is happening on Veteran’s Day Weekend with the holiday on November 12th, 2018. We are shifting to a week earlier to allow for more participation since many people choose to travel over the Thanksgiving Holiday week. I’m also excited to align with our local Foo Foo Festival celebrating the arts that is happening during that same time over a 12 day span. A beautiful convergence is happening during our 7th year celebration.
After an extreme Year of the Fire Rooster, which stirred our passions and ignited us to rise and mobilize into action, we now move into the grounding energy of Earth Dog. Love, Compassion, and Respect for All are the solid foundations to cultivate during this Earth cycle year as we ground down and reclaim our power. To make best use of this incoming Earth energy, be aware of your diet, the company you keep, surroundings, thoughts, ideas, information, and attitudes.

Earth Dog energy reminds us to be loyal guardians of the earth and to respect all our relations. We are reminded to use our bark against Injustice as we team up as caretakers of our planet Earth and all that we hold sacred. Justice, sincerity, faithfulness, and honesty are the values that lead to a time of fairness and equality during Earth Dog year. We are waking up, and together rising.

The Mahabhuta Yoga Festival is a celebration honoring our Gulf Coast community where we join together our families to access the timeless expression of love. Love expresses itself at the Mahabhuta Yoga Festival through laughter, asana, dance, breath, meditation, essential oils, children, nature, song, art, bodywork, high vibrational cuisine, and community. The Mahabhuta Yoga Festival welcomes everyone to take the time to celebrate and experience the love we have to give.

We are so grateful for your support by attending the 7th annual Mahabhuta Yoga Festival. Bring friends, bring family, or just bring yourself and meet beautiful people who love yoga, dancing and eating good food as much as you do. Kids under 13 are free and welcome to attend the Galactic Child Yoga village.
This is an event highlighting the talents of regional yoga teachers, artists, healers, and musicians from the SouthEast Region. There will be yoga workshops and educational seminars on wellness over the weekend with the “Dog” room suitable for 300 people and the “Earth” room suitable for 75 people. Music is alive in a majority of our daytime workshops with Friday and Saturday evening concerts that leave everyone in bliss and refreshed for the next day of celebration.
