Gratitude!

Music is in the air

In these weird times seeing people like you and me being (expired link) their homes, their families, their lives...while the rest of the world is talking about economical issues, I feel like i am bursting of anger and sadness and the intensity of my feelings becomes almost unbearable...
I wrote a song about the intensity of life which often is missing in daily life's routines...well, that's not the case any more these days...
And still this song now sounds to me like a message of hope and a fight for peace, also inner peace.
Although it is still just a sketch of a song in a raw first piano/voice arrangement, recorded live on my handy, I felt like sharing it with you in support of our friends fighting in Ukraine to have a future on their own.

This war is just an unjustified timebomb which exploded unexpectedly for no reason!
My heart is soaring...

I feel sad and desillusioned thinking of what the Ucranian people have to go through for almost one week now.
I don't have words to express my pain. But I have a song to which does it.
This is to express my support and my love for all the Ucrainians fighting for our freedom and peace in this world.

Hi everybody

I just wanted to wish a happy new year to my long time subscribers and also to the ones who have newly arrived.
And I wanted to tell you that I am working on a more elaborated version of my song "Maman", yes the one with the French lyrics dedicated to my mother, which will hopefully be online by the end of January.
The next song will then probably be "Solitude", which was also the harmonical basis for "Meierskappel", yes the Swiss German song which is already on this page, but will be in English and will have a quite different feel.
I can't wait for your feedbacks once they will be online.
In the meanwhile stay healthy and don't hesitate to write me whenever you feel like.

I'd like to do two things today.
First, thank all the new subscribers who joined me through numberonemusic recently.
Secondly, for everyone who has already received a few newsletters and shared my world for quite some time, inform that I am setting up my home studio again and that there will soon be new music online.
I hope that you all stay safe in these crazy times!

Hi everybody

I hope you are all safe and sound!
I permit myself to write to all of you because of the actual situation we musicians/freelancers go through.
So far I decided to offer my music for free on number one music.
But now with that crises, I am being forced to think differently.
I have to gather every single possible dime to be able to continue as a freelancer.
Since I know from your feedback, that all of you are already enjoying listening to my music for quite some time, I thought I could try and see if some of you, who can afford it, could/would eventually also buy my music?

I have now put my cd "If I could" on all online stores (google play, apple music, Spotify...) and it can be bought, or just single songs, directly on the number one music site you are already inscribed and linked to me.

I will use this extra income to finally record my second album with another ten songs which ly readily prepared on my piano for quite some time already.

I have changed my songlist on the site the way, that the first ten songs are the songs you will find on the album in the very same order.

The other songs are not yet available to be bought.

So I am looking forward to seeing who is ready/able to help out artists/freelancers like me in surviving this ugly crisis.
I know we are not the only ones suffering and I understand anybody who needs his money invested in its own family/business to make it run through this crisis and further.

Dear friends

I have decided to upload one of my compositions which are ready for long, but which I haven't uploaded yet because I haven't had the time to record them properly.
Finally, I just made a live cut of myself on my cell phone playing and singing to give you some new material to listen to.
In the end, that's what music should be all about:
Live and raw, right to the heart.
Don't hesitate to tell me what you think about it.
Sorry for the ones who don't speak French. I hope you'll still feel it.

Hi everybody

Another year is coming to an end and I simply wanted to thank all of you for your support which you kept on showing me, even though I was not very active on the site during the past year.
I hope I'll be able to finally offer you more new music on my site in 2020.
There are loads of songs composed for a while already, only I didn't have the time to record and post them recently.
I wish you all the best for the coming year and hope to hear from you from time to time.
