I have just uploaded a new song from my Truth & Trickery EP.

Oh Baby (Why Am I Thinking Of You) is an old song of mine and this is the second time I have recorded it. The first one was very rough and I thought it deserved a second chance at life. Have a listen and see what you think.

So there has been an onslaught of competitions lately and my track 'All Over By Christmas' has been selected in the top 30 for Australia Songwriters Association Ballad Section. I have just added this track to my N1M library so please have a listen and see if you think it's a winner!

It is sitting in a number of comps along with a few others and I am pleased so far at the reaction it has received.

Hello Lovelies,

I am very excited to announce that I will be setting off soon to start a new project with an amazing producer. Rod McCormack has agreed to spend five days writing a new album and we will also have his lovely wife Gina Jeffreys and rising star Max Jackson in to give us a hand for one or two days.

This was all initiated by my wonderful friend and mentor, Lou Bradley. I met Lou at Tamworth Country Music Festival in January and she has taken me under her wing.

I will be staying with my writing partner Lola Brinton, who penned the lyrics to my most recent single 'Heartaches Coming Around'. How great it is to have all this amazing talent living in the one place.

Recording will begin later in the year and I plan to release new singles in 2020.

In the meantime, please continue to enjoy my music right here. More is available on all streaming services and online stores.

I am in the middle of touring and am a little behind in sending out my monthly update.

I have just uploaded a new song from my Truth & Trickery EP. 'The War Ain't Over' is a tune I wrote during the second gulf war (yes that long ago) and this is my second attempt at recording it. I think this one has scrubbed a little better than the original.

Hello everyone,

I am excited to be officially launching my new three track EP 'Taking It Well' into all music stores as of November 1, 2018.

One of the tracks 'What's Wrong With Me?' has been sitting at No.2 in all countries these past few weeks.

The official launch will be from The Wheatsheaf Hotel here in Adelaide, where I am supporting Clint Wilson and his band, from Melbourne, as they tour their new album Dark Water.

I kicked off this month performing at The Semaphore Music Festival on the BSide Community Stage. A fabulous annual event which managed to support itself this year after previous funding was lost. Thanks to all the hard work of entrepreneur Debra Thorsen with her band of merry volunteers, sponsor Robert Dunstan from BSide Magazine and the many good hearted local musicians who all came to the party.

I am jetting off to Far North Queensland in a couple of days to spend some time with family and perform a small concert to the residents of Carinya Aged Care where my Mum is enjoying her latter years.

Later in the month, I will join the Adelaide Songs crew to present another show in the Back2Back Short Show Festival at The Star Theatres in Hilton.

Then on November 1, I will be launching my new EP 'Taking It Well' alongside Clint Wilson's New album Dark Water tour at the Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton. The three new tracks from my EP are available for listening on N1M right now and will be available to purchase from the release date vie all online stores.

Even more new tracks have been recorded and are just awaiting mixing and mastering. Watch this space for more news on those.

Spring is close but we are still feeling the chill here in Adelaide. Especially chilly in Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills last night, but we were kept warm in the beautiful Three Brothers Arms Hotel Front Bar. I supported Matt Ward and his band The Rising Sons as he is touring his new single 'Annabelle'. What a great night with a great crowd of people.

I am excited to announce that I will be launching a new three track EP 'Taking It Well' November 1st and have started distributing to radio already. I have uploaded one track from the EP 'I Will Follow You' onto N1M and will load the other two during the month of September for your listening enjoyment. These tracks will only be available for purchase on the official release date.

We're finally getting some long awaited rain here in SA, adding a bit of moisture to the cold weather. But later this month one of our great venues Fowler's Live will be on fire.

NETGIGS are planning a exposè of bands and solo artists which they are filming and taking to Big Sound [Australia's biggest music conference]. The great thing is YOU CAN BE THERE as an audience member or watch it online from ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD [or both] for only $10AU.

Heading into July now, it is extremely cold in Adelaide South Australia, but we are having a winter festival which I am part of three years running now. I am launching my single Chic Chic Boom onto Community Radio across Australia. Stations can start picking it up and playing it as of tomorrow July 1st. The official launch is July 20th and I am doing that with a great show called Two Chics and A BOOM at The Wheatsheaf Hotel, the SA home of original music.

Emily A Smith will be opening the night and in the second set I have a full band lined up to present a list of tales from the underbelly. We will be joined by the wonderful Annie Siegmann on bass, Gerard Spalding on drums and the amazing Emma Luker on violin. A special night indeed!

Straight after this, Emily and I are going into Wizard Tone Studios to start recording a new album. I will be welcoming back Holly Thomas from Melbourne to play percussion and Shireen Khemlani on bass. I also expect to lure our very own Leonard Cohen [not the one you're thinking of] on dobro.

Very excited to be part of a fabulous group of musicians and songwriters who are producing a second show of songs about our own city, Adelaide. We are debuting the new show in the Adelaide Fringe Festival this March. I hope to one day record the two new songs I have written for this show, but in the meantime, have a listen to one track I wrote for the last show.

Stormy Summer Blues is the tale of an Adelaide identity, a brothel owner, famous for standing up for the rights of the working girl, running [unsuccessfully] for Lord Mayor and offering comments to people as she drove past in her pink convertible. But it all came to a soggy end when, following bankruptcy, was evicted from her penthouse overlooking Light Square by no less than Star Force officers [police elite].
