Very excited to be part of a fabulous group of musicians and songwriters who are producing a second show of songs about our own city, Adelaide. We are debuting the new show in the Adelaide Fringe Festival this March. I hope to one day record the two new songs I have written for this show, but in the meantime, have a listen to one track I wrote for the last show. Stormy Summer Blues is the tale of an Adelaide identity, a brothel owner, famous for standing up for the rights of the working girl, running [unsuccessfully] for Lord Mayor and offering comments to people as she drove past in her pink convertible. But it all came to a soggy end when, following bankruptcy, was evicted from her penthouse overlooking Light Square by no less than Star Force officers [police elite].
