Hello fab people, Heading into July now, it is extremely cold in Adelaide South Australia, but we are having a winter festival which I am part of three years running now. I am launching my single Chic Chic Boom onto Community Radio across Australia. Stations can start picking it up and playing it as of tomorrow July 1st. The official launch is July 20th and I am doing that with a great show called Two Chics and A BOOM at The Wheatsheaf Hotel, the SA home of original music. Emily A Smith will be opening the night and in the second set I have a full band lined up to present a list of tales from the underbelly. We will be joined by the wonderful Annie Siegmann on bass, Gerard Spalding on drums and the amazing Emma Luker on violin. A special night indeed! Straight after this, Emily and I are going into Wizard Tone Studios to start recording a new album. I will be welcoming back Holly Thomas from Melbourne to play percussion and Shireen Khemlani on bass. I also expect to lure our very own Leonard Cohen [not the one you're thinking of] on dobro.
