This is sort of like a reintroduction of who I am and why I do what I do. In 2002, my mother and baby sister passed which shook the core of my being. I never expected to ever be without them. I felt traumatized, lost ,shocked ,etc. by grief. The only thing I knew to do was cry out to God. Some days it was real tears. Some days it was just moans but everyday it felt like my soul had an unquenchable,indescribable persistent ache. I expressed to God that I was waiting for him to take me too and I positioned myself to die. God started audibly speaking to me He said,"PAULETTE ,there is purpose in your pain." I didn't get that at first. I started seeing visions,hearing songs clearly with melodies ,lyrics , instrumentations. God spoke again telling it's not my time and that I have more work songs to write. He also told me that I was born a Psalmist.I started calling myself "GOD'S PSALMIST". The songs I hear since then I call them"SINGING LETTERS". These songs speak the heart of God, to us, to promote healing,motivation,his love,pay tribute,and uplifting those that are hurting. I tell people David in the Bible wrote some of the Psalms, God gave me "SINGING LETTERS". Since 2002, most of my songs are Singing Letters. I write praise songs to God because he loves and so deserves praise. Singing to him over the last 19 years has become sustaining power for me. When we praise God he manifests his glory,power,strength,etc. So the songs I write are not just random songs I write. I released "SINGING LETTERS" in 2002. The song "WHAT ABOUT GOD?" is a SINGING LETTER. The purpose is take our minds off the virus and bad news and look to God. Yes things are bad and uncertain but don't count God out He is still with us.If he wasn't things would a 1000 percent worse. Yes this may sound gimmicky but it's not. It's alot some days knowing God gives me personal song messages about people's lives and record them and give them to them. It blessed me to hear them say that it blessed them.Blessings to everybody and thank you for sharing my song and being apart of my network. Doing music did not just happen to us but God chose us.
