I must say that I REALLY like this ALOT! The old soul feeling to this is perfect and on point! Reminds me of Prince in a way. My only personal opinion would be on the sections that there is talking, I really couldn't catch alot of what was said.

I truly got into the groove that you laied down here and loved the gutar solo at the beginning. I found the vocals kind of cloudy, which made it kind of hard to understand. I would bring the vocals out to where you can clealy understand each and every word you are saying, because I am sure you had some good stuff in the song. Enjoyed my listen very much.

Hi, Thanl you for sending your song first and foremost. As it takes a lot of courage to put your music out here. Now your sound has a Prince style specially with the voice part. Just a smooth memory lane song that many who love this era will appreciate. The horn touch in your music ready drew me in- that melody caught me.... had me thinking I was on a journey through time. Great song i like the intro put me in mind of old school funk artist like Larry Graham cameo i also heard some Barry white. The production was good as well. Thats that kind of music that make you think about life keep up the work

The Track is amazing. Sounds like a story from yesterday just the music even without the words. Sounds like Blues and should be song very strong and powerful as the track is. It is song with some feeling,so power it up and it can do some damage A horn in the midst of some of the changes will really set it off......Over all good stuff .

This song is reminiscent of a wonderful time in music. A time when grooves in clubs, juke joints, and lounges all had that bass line, back beat and laid back feel that mixed blues with a 50s kind of groove. The musical progression was good and the background harmonies were tight. The song had a live sound that made it consistent with the era that it was from. Great job on the vocals and lyrics in the verses . Also, good job on the guitar work. I enjoyed Listening to this, it took me back. Here are few things that are meant not for suggestion, recommendation or critique but only consideration. There is nothing negative here... It's all positive. There could have been a different Mix that gave a different feel. For example the snare, hi hats could have had a different choice of snare and the hi hats could be panned in their own space. Also, there could be less reverb on the vocals including the talking. This will allow for a different acoustic voicing. However if you were going for the live feel you captured it well. This is one song that reminds me so much of why I started singing in church and around the neighborhood in Chicago. My grandma, granddad aunties and all would step to this. It's definitely feels good to hear. When you listen whoever singing has a legendary voice. Keep up the good work. We need more of this.
