Hi Paul Harty fans,

I have spent the last month or so recuperating from hip replacement surgery. I'm just now getting back to driving and active gigging around Boston's North Shore. I'll be playing a lot of traditional Irish music this month around the March 17 St Patrick's Day holiday. A long-anticipated original CD project is also in process. I'll be writing and recording new songs for a late summer release. When it is done,I'll let every one know.

Hi fans,

Thanks for appreciating my music. I have been gigging a lot around the North Shore of Boston MA USA, both solo and with The Jolly Rogues, and with my old buddies Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society, performing Irish and maritime music. When the gigs slack off, I'll get back to writing some new original songs and get them out to the world. For those of you rocking vinyl, I just discovered a cache of sealed St James Gate LPs (1985) Traditional Irish music that I recorded way back in 1985. Available for $10 US (plus pre-paid shipping). Thanks for liking my music .I'm having a busy May, playing a reunion concert with my old band from the 1980s , Blunt Instruments. And doing one-off Irish, bluegrass and Americana gigs around and about New England with various friends . I'm wriiting some new songs, too. I expect to have a website up with my songs within a month. Hi Folks,
Welcome to my newsletter. Thanks for your interest in my music. Just a word about my music career. I have been singing and playing all kinds of roots music (lately called Americana) folk, bluegrass, blues, Celtic rockabilly, doo wop, Cajun, classic country, western swing, and Colonial for decades part-time in the Boston area. I have been fortunate enough to play music in Canada, England, Wales, Germany and China. Since my retirement two years ago from the 9-5 business world, I have had more time to pursue my craft. It has been wonderful. I write originals in various rootsy styles and "interpret" tradtional and contemporary songs. I love to collaborate with other musicians.
