Oh Yeah!
This is bluesy! Great vocals, really like the backing vocals! Guitar and harmonica are blended very well. Percussion is dead on and although the overall mix is not as I would like this is an awesome song! The drums could be a bit brighter and the lead vocals cut just a wee bit, maybe 2 db... again tho this is just my own opinion and the creator/writer here should do whatever he/she feels is the creation they wanted. I really enjoyed this track, good job Paul!

Up and coming from San Paulo!
This Artist has talent! Congrats.. The lyrics are well thought out, and the arrangement.suits the genre very well. As a writer., Recording artist, and performer, I appreciate that goes into producing this track. If there is any constructive criticism it would be to work on the mixing, and EQ of the vocals.Finding the sweet spot in my humble opinion would take it over the top! Nice work!

Hit and run
Paul Mandacas "hit and run' is a fine blues tune .It's very much in Texas blues style of the early sounds of ZZ Top, Fantastic use of the blues harp,or harmonica also, is a bonus too. Yeah, LL gives it the thumbs up. LL Lawler Downtown Detroit Dublin

Haunting Melody
Absolutely beautiful slow blues melody. I here some Steely Dan influence with a heavy blues feel. This tune is melancholy and chord rich all at the same time. Singers seem to be strained somewhat, but they blend with the tune. Great offering.

That's a Hit!
It's rare to step on a song so well conceived and produced, specially when lurking around on social networks. So when I first started listening at "hit and run" I was immediatly captured by the nice drums, bass, guitar and harp work. Vocal parts are well tought and arranged, and when the hammond comes out behind everything, it's a joy to listen at the whole thing. Guitar solo too is just as it should be, I can't say there's something that should pe played or arranged in a different or better way. I just want to play the track on my speakers, again and again, and every time I can notice a new detail which I love. Only suggestion on my part is to have the song mastered in a lil different way, with a lil more push. Anyway, you did it GREAT!

Hit and Run by Paul Mandaca
Paul Mandaca is based in Sao Paulo Brazil. I am not sure whether Paul is Brazilian but the sound of Hit and Run is authentic Southern US blues / rock. The track hits its groove right from the off with a splendid harmonica sound, the guitar and organ setting the blues inflected tones. The vocal lines are delivered perfectly and the track rises and falls like an old man snoozing on a sun drenched porch in the deep south hitting the heights with a fantastic guitar solo in the middle section of Hit and Run. The rhythm section ably provide the platform on which everything else works and there are some excellent backing vocals. One of the best tracks I have heard on NumberoneMusic for a while. Check this track out - it is worth your while and one of the best 4 minutes and 6 seconds you will spend today..

Hit and Run
I love the song but I'd like to hear less of the background singers and more harmonica. The background singers are off key - pitchy - but the harmonica should have a solo part in the middle along with the keyboard.

Hit and Run
Hi love the opening riff and the interplay with the guitar nice bass and drums! The harp works well too. You might try a version with the backing sung a little more straight as there is a lot going on in the groove, just a thought, love the way it was sung but it was more like a main vocal than a backing vocal. I could be wrong? Love the groove and the hook ......regards ....Paul

Could be played in late night radio...
This is coming in very bluesy... very convincing stuff, lots of nice harmonies over a half time drum pattern. Nice guitar solo, which I'd prefer to sound much more dirtier and with more soul to it. Song writing, recording and mixing is overall good and pleases my ears. All in all a very good performance of a tune that could be played in late night radio air shows in the slow blues night hour.

Nice
This is a soulful song with some nice backing vocals. Liked the harmonica playing too. Nice gutair solo in middle. Yet in all this not cliche blues - which is how I like it. Good allround song.

Hit And Run
a laid back Blusey song . Love that harp . Nicely put together and the band is great . Vocals are great also . The production is a little bit shaky and needs a lot more bass . Good luck with this one , Cliff

Groovy!
This is a really nice tune and the singer has a nice voice. From the opening riff, this very much reminds me of some of the stuff by Steely Dan and the production is very clean and tight. My suggestion would be that it needs more of a bass line and I would pick up the tempo just a little as this song teeters on that fine line between mellow and dragging. I would also bring out more of the organ and pull the rhythm guitar back in the mix a tiny bit. Keep up the good work!
