A song for Ukraine.
I feel that my song The 21 Bridges which is inspired by and written for the bridges in my hometown Uppsala also fits into my grief and horror and my feelings and longing for a free and peaceful Ukraine as well. Poor children, women and men. They need their bridges to a more human life❤️????❤️


This song was written by Pelle Lundblad during the winter of 2021 and is a tribute to the bridges in Uppsala. It is an embrace of the historical significance of connecting both sides of the river, East and West. The story also gives a thought to the homeless who sometimes have the bridges as their only protection against the storm and the rain.

Pelle sings and plays the harmonica.

The beautiful warm keyboard arrangement is created by Markus Miljand who also plays piano, pedal organ and an old synth.

Jag känner att min låt The 21 Bridges som är inspirerad av och skriven till broarna i Uppsala även passar in i min sorg och fasa och mina känslor och längtan för ett fritt och fredsfullt Ukraina också. Stackars barnen, kvinnorna och männen. Dom behöver sina broar till ett mänskligare liv❤️????❤️

I would like to thank you all for your kind messages and cheering support. That’s really inspiring to me.

I would also like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year together with your families and friends.

My last two music years really been something special. Since releasing my tribute EP to Tom Petty Heartbreaking News in April everything rocks! Thanks for thousands of streaming’s and video watchings. That’s really inspiring to me!

New songs recorded and in progress. Putting on some extra choruses and extra flavors before they’re ready to fly. I’ll keep you posted.

Dear all!

We are so Happy and greatful for all you listeners and followers.

Swedeicana is Americana made in Sweden. I invented that music terminology during recording “Made In Tobo” in May 2017.

After releasing of that album we went out for a lot of gigs. During a massive live tour I continue writing a new songs. The first four of those songs were recorded January this year on our session to Gräsö in the archipelago of Uppland.

“Heartbreaking News” is a tribute EP to Tom Petty. I wrote the songs as stories about me and Tom. A mix of fantasy, dreams and reality!

Based on a dream and wish that Tom is climbing down the ladder from his place in heaven. All we have to do is ho ho as owls so he hear us! For those of you who have Facebook there is a new music video!

A Girl Like You
Based upon a true story ;-)

My City
Based upon growing up with all sisters and brothers. The love and all good feelings about a mother. A fantasy about playing with Tom!

Tambourine Man Song
Based upon me, Tom and a car. Driving around in town looking for gigs. No big worries said Tom, you survive!

Later this year there will be further recordings of Swedeicana songs.

Wow you seem to like My City. I am very pleased with that. The song is a story that links up the growth of a large family, with a mother who took care of us in all possible and impossible situations. I also try to get the description of my great love for my hometown and the neighborhood where I spent my first nineteen years in life. Nice feelings that came back when I wrote the song and wonderful when we recorded earlier this year. Amazingly proud when I heard the mixed and mastered end result. A song I'm proud of.
