Hi, everyone! As most of you may recall, I asked for prayer about whether it was God's will for me to record another album and I am happy to announce that soon, I will be doing just that! What led me to the decision was a dream I had about a week ago, where a small group of us were all singing a song together. It wasn't until after I awoke that I realized that it was one of the songs I have been tentatively planning to record on the new album. And a few days after that, I awoke with a new song playing in my mind, which I immediately captured on my keyboard. I have the music pretty all well sorted out and have the lyrics as well. It is called "I Love To Sing Your Praises". Anyway, the 2 together within days of each other leads me to believe that the light is green for recording. Also, I have located a recording studio much closer than the one in Flint. (I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Michael, but 13 minutes away is MUCH less driving than 60 minutes away.) What clinched the deal with the new studio was when I read that he is a minister of music in 2 churches. I know a secular studio could probably do just as good a job, but I just feel that a Christian would know best what the music is all about and what I am shooting for with each song. Perfection is nice, but I feel anointed is even more important. Everything is in the infancy stage, only in the planning phase, but I am very excited to get the wheels rolling.
