Schaltkreis Wassermann - Early 80s
Hey dears, I've added a new track to listen to and to download. It's a teaser for Schaltkreis Wassermann's new album "Early 80s" that contains singles, edits and unreleased tracks from, well yes, the early 80s.
At that time synthesizers were new, rare, expensive and futuristic. And only available as hardware. My late wife Stella and I formed Schaltkreis Wassermann and saved every penny to buy us some instruments. Soon we got some jobs in creating soundtracks for industrial movies. With what we earned we bought more stuff.
In our free time we tried to create our own artistic visions. It was not easy as our ideas were grand and our tools were limited, as our recording equipment was amateur or semi-pro. So I was never really satisfied with the audio quality and we didn't release the music.
Now looking back at these recordings I must say they were original, interesting and adventurous. Some of them I'll probably rework as they are good compositions. You be the judge!
