I finally got the new computer to record without distorting. I did a couple of test tracts but I don't have anything finished yet. I hope to find the time to get serious about recording my latest music. I'm disappointed that I only get to post 3 tunes here but I do have about 13 tunes posted on (expired link) and I think on (expired link). I only post recordings of things that I own the rights to, so there won't be any covers there, even though I have recorded some cover tunes. I looked at the stats of how many views and plays that I've had and am very pleased that so many people like my music. All of my music is downloadable for free. If anyone is interested in following me on Facebook, I accept nearly all Friend requests.
Read moreThere isn't much latest going on. I'm working a few new tunes but it will be while before I get them recorded and mixed. I'll do my best to keep you up to speed on my progress. I have new computer and a new tablet and both are not what I'm used to. That has been part of what has kept me from posting things.

I started playing guitar at 15 and never stopped. I studied with Jerry Fields in Richmond, Va for 2 1/2 years. Played in bands for about 20 years and have retired from regular gigs. When I was 5 years old I was staying with my Grandparents for the summer and a man came to visit and played his guitar. There was something about the sound of it that captured my ear. When I was 15 I got a $17 Marwin(made by Harmony) guitar. The action was so high it made my fingers bleed but I never gave up. When I was 18 I got a Kay electric guitar and joined a band. We played mostly Beatle music and other contemporary tunes. I got a job in a music store and could afford a better instrument and got the chance to study with the local guitar guru Jerry Fields in Richmond, Va. After that I played in several bands for about another 20 years. Now I just play what I like, which are mostly chord solos, and write and record at home. I still play at parties and sit in with friends bands.
