Carolina Plaza Hamame, better known as Carito Plaza, became known in the group FunkReal when she emigrated from Concepción to the capital at the age of 17. She has a degree in Musical Arts and a certified vocal coach, she was also one of the founders of the dissolved band Ovolo, where she approached AcidJazz.

Carito has collaborated with various bands, including Raiza, CFunk, Boomer, El Noni, SoloDiMedina, Keko Yoma, Dj Phantom, Dj Bitman, “Mawashi”, Seo2, “Niten School” (French MC and producer), Los Amigos Invisibles ( Venezuela) and the German band “Bernhard Hollinger Group” thanks to which she toured Germany in 2012.

In 2009 Carito gave life to her first solo album “Sabor a Chocolate” produced by Micha Celis and Gustavo Figueroa of the Chilean soul band Raiza. In 2016 she released the singles Ojos de Menta and Wake up feat. Dj Acres and thanks to the latter Carito has been able to perform at various independent festivals around the world and has been nominated for various international independent music awards.

2020 Carito launches Arena & Música feat. Mamel and Catire who are part of the Grammy-winning Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles, produced by Agustin Espina, a renowned Producer, Arranger, Mixer and Keyboardist.

In 2020 she released the single Getting High with American singer Jaquay Morgan.
