Past Reviews Seem Almost Neglegent!
Alright so Simon Cowell must have died, and if he did thank God, because all of you critics are judging this from an American Idol stanpoint. Since when do buggers like you think you understand the pure genius of this band let alone this song itself. You know it takes a Genius to recognise the PURE GENIUS of POETIC TRAGEDY. The pure artistry, yea yea if your a proffesional producer you might be able to nit pick at certain quirks in the song. Well my friends let's get this straight, I am a proffesional producer, and shockbyshock i'm sorry to say but you just don't understand the sound of pure uninhibited unconventional ART that I for one who have been following this band since 2007 when they released "Twilight On the Dawn Of Madness", can recognize a pure Genius Transistion when the Church Organs mellow out into the other organ(sounds like a reed of some sort). You are all to busy trying to take away from the POWER this band has behind them and the HUGE potential of what they can accomplish, that you have all supposedly become big time critics when you are really nowhere and Poetic Tragedy in my opinion will rise straight to the top and flush all this sh*t of musical culture today down the toilet. Thanks Mates!
New Jerusalem
More power and pace needed. It had more of alternative rock feel to it. The lead vocal seemed to be struggling in the higher register (maybe go for a lesser interval or change key). The second acoustic intro fitted well and the sound fitted the subject matter. The female vocal was ok but it should be more in the background and blend better with the main vocal as the main vocal should be more prominent.

New Jerusalem--review by Starla
well--the song starts out really nicely--very pleasant--but way too much reverb and effects was used on the lead vocals and I couldn't understand but a few words--I tried several times--also the song is waaay too long for the amount of content

Needed Work
I'm not a big fan. I can see some real potential in this song, but there are a few things you are missing. I feel it is lacking a big structure and feels like random things happening just for the sake of it. The background female vocals get a bit frustrating after a while and I feel it is missing the power a song should have, regardless of genre. It just feels like one big verse. The instruments and everything are played well, but I think this needs work.
