Music without lyrics expresses emotions and thoughts. My piece ' A Tender Moment' reflects on the word tender. It is also in 3/4 which transmits a gentle rocking. Please enjoy!

Hello fans of Rada's piano music,

According to a basic law of physics, when you touch an instrument the body's force against the instrument creates an equal and opposite reaction. Energy flows back into the body from the instrument. You might imagine when you are listening to a performer that you are also experiencing the reciprocating force of this energy. Just the thought of that makes me want to run to the piano to tune in to that energy and let it runs through my veins.

Hello friends @ N1M,

My best judgement is using my ear. What does that mean? That means when I hear a piece for the first time if it catches my ear I will likely want to hear more. In regards to what I hear, I hear much piano music that begins nicely but seems to go nowhere which means I will likely not need to listen to it again. Melodies find a way into our minds/souls and want to linger where as sounds have a way of disappearing and not becoming memorable. It's said that one is their own best critic. I hope that applies to me and that my melodies wish to linger with you and you would share them if they do.

I have often been asked how did you know you were going to learn the piano? I didn't know that once my hands touched the piano I would be hooked. My mom knew. My attraction to the sound of the piano and her gentle encouragement was all I needed. You see my parents were immigrants and my older sister and I were born in refugee camps in Germany. We are Serbian. Our neighbors in Indiana moved away and gave their heavy Gulbransen piano to my family. If they only knew what an impact that had on my life. I am always hoping to share my music and inspire others. It is very difficult to stay away from that which one loves.

If you could take a moment to go to (expired link) [ Rada Neal] and write a short review it would be helpful. While I am perfectly happy to stay at home practice, learn and write getting out and playing for people is a very special way to share my music.
