Hello friends @ N1M, My best judgement is using my ear. What does that mean? That means when I hear a piece for the first time if it catches my ear I will likely want to hear more. In regards to what I hear, I hear much piano music that begins nicely but seems to go nowhere which means I will likely not need to listen to it again. Melodies find a way into our minds/souls and want to linger where as sounds have a way of disappearing and not becoming memorable. It's said that one is their own best critic.
