When starting to listen I hear a beautifully played piano... And in comes a real 'country voice'.... I like the modulation to/within the verse. A sudden, but very welcome change. The arrangement with the added steel guitar and more sounds is really nice. Well produced. Listened on speakers and headphones - both ways sounds really good. I like the lyrics. They seem meaningful and truly meant. But -with due respect- I think the singing has room for improvement and that's a pity. If I were the producer of this recording I would definitely ask the singer to give it a couple more tries to really nail it, really mean it and put in a bit more "oemph". Therefore a bit lower score, because it's more like a (very good) demo than a finished product. Hope I don't offend anyone with this well meant, but sincere comments. All in all I like the song and most of it how it's performed. Wish you success. Ronn

I like the slow, Solo Piano at the beginning with the Simple Vocals as this tune slowly builds, adding Acoustic and Pedal Steel Guitar with the Out Front "Snap" of the Snare Drum! Excellent delivery and thigh quality studio production . The piano in this song is great with some potential . I am from Georgia myself . There has been some great music come out of Georgia and this is another one. Keep it up. Is this a single cut or is there an Album?

Good piano work especially in the lead off of the tune, I think the vocals needed a little harmony to help smooth the edges out a bit, The drums and fiddle were ok but not overly impressive. Keyboard work towards the end of tune is really nice. I could see an improvement with some horned and guitars! Thanks for the effort and thanks for asking my opinion, hope I was not to critical ? The words and message of the tune were to the point and promises were made! Best to you !

This song starts out with some real nice piano and moves into the verses. Not knowing what you are trying to do with the song, I will assume you are either trying to shop it for an act to do or try and get picked up to do it yourself. Working for quite some time in the industry, I know every song that gets shopped for whatever reason should be their absolute best possible version that they can be (it will live with you forever!). You have a good solid track on the song but your vocals need more to make this song its best. I would suggest re-recording the vocals with another singer that can make this song pop out and represent your writing in its best. Several vocal areas seem to not work their best and could simply need another pro singers approach to singing it. Good luck with the future and keep writing!

Randall has made another incredible job with this tune! I love this genre and he always sings it and plays it very well.
