About Randy Hawkins & The Two Dollar Tour
Guided by his mother's voice in the background saying, sing Randy, sing, by the age of 2 years old Randy Hawkins was recording songs like Fox on the Run, and Cowboy for his family on old cassette tapes. Some things never change I guess and this Acoustic/Country/Texas/Soul singer/songwriter has kept all the passion instilled at that young age in every song recorded since. Born in Weatherford, Texas and raised in a small town north of Austin, Texas, known as Lampasas, Randy excelled in the music and theatre programs throughout his tenure, and eventually went on to study Music, with a concentration in voice at The University of Texas for a short period.
