Poem I wrote
Darkened Dawn
When nothing is sacred
Then everything is cheap
All things are shallow
And nothing is deep
Thoughts on the surface
Revile everything in sight
Cynics will slander
And devour and Bite
All things around them
Making misery and strife
Dawn becomes darkness
Hiding the life
Blocking and battering
Hiding the sun
Words always sarcastic
And hurting someone
Thankless and thoughtless
Gifts to them misunderstood
All things are worthless
And nothing is good.

Right now there is a lot of strife, fear and anger before the 2024 presidential election. Please remember what we have to be thankful for, and that much of the negative social media has more to do with making money than anything helpful or encouraging.
Their titles & fake pictures of people in the news (using software to contort their facial expressions to radiate extreme fear, shock, or anger) are used to generate views and money for them.
"If there is anything good, think on these things...." (Philippians 4:8)
In spite of everything that is happening all around us, one thing never changes:
"God loves us and sent His Son." (I John 4:9)
There are riches that come and go, but God's Son makes us truly rich and that can never be take away. Seek the true riches and you will find peace in a world of chaos....
I wrote a song called "Fades Away."
I hope you listen to it and really think about the message.
