Your tears are in His bottle
Psalm 56:8 says, "You have kept track of my wanderings; You have put my tears in Your bottle; they are in Your book...."
In ancient times when people were mourning the loss of a loved one, they let their tears fall into a bottle. Then they placed the bottle into the tomb with their loved one. They wanted everyone to know that they would never forget them.
God sees you, and He takes account of everything that happens to you. He keeps your tears in His bottle. He has one for each of us.
For God so loved the world, that He did not send a committee.
He sent His only Son Jesus who took the blame for all the sins of the world, for all the things every person has done wrong.
"I stand at the door of your heart and knock; if anyone opens the door, I will come in." (Revelation 3:20).
I wrote a song called "Living Water" after I went through a very difficult time in my life. It meant a lot to me to know that God knew everything that was happening, and that He was keeping my tears in His bottle. In John chapter 4 Jesus talks about living water. And in Revelation 22:1-2 it talks about the river of the water of life and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations.
As you draw close to Him in prayer, ask Him for the living water to come into your soul. Ask Him for peace and times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. He is watching over you, and keeping track of what happens to you.
"If anyone loves Me, they will do what I ask, and I and My Father will come to them, and make their heart our home." John 14:23
"Dear Lord Jesus, please help me to draw close to You, and thank you for putting my tears into your bottle, and for keeping track of everything in my life. I ask you to help me to have wisdom to know what to do, and to fight my battles for me after I have done all I can. Help me to trust You and Your kind intentions for me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
I hope you have a wonderful day, dear one, and that you experience the peace and joy of His living water in your life.
