About RANI

Rani is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (guitar, voice, ukulele, bass, piano, drums), composer and producer from Zacatecas, with 13 years of professional experience.
She founded and directed the group Ermitania between 2008 and 2013, and since 2017 she has developed her project as a soloist.
In her songs she plays with different musical genres such as rock, pop, blues, reggae, ska, cumbia and bossa nova.
She has a degree in Singing (Autonomous University of Zacatecas), although her musical training has been tutored mainly by her father, the musician and composer Rafael H. Hidalgo.

Rani has participated in various cultural events such as the Zacatecas Cultural Festival (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2018, 2019 and 2021), the Exa Party (2011), FENAZA (2011, 2012 and 2019), Festival of Sexual Diversity Zacatecas (2010), Ciudad Guzmán Festival, Jalisco (2011), Fête de la Musique (2018), Zona Zocco Festival, SLP (2018), Zac Christmas Festival. 2018, Live the City! Zacatecas (Sep. 2019).
In some of these concerts she opened for artists such as Sasha Sokol, Dulce María, Elefante, Reik, OV7, Natalia Lafourcade, El Tri.
Rani was a participant in the TVAzteca program "The Voice Mexico, 2019" as a member of Belinda's team.
