Hello All!!! The summer has been great and full of surprises. I've been working a lot on the classical side of music and keeping busy catering and writing new poetry and spoken word. I'll be in Washington DC the remainder of this week singing for the Congressional Black Caucus session. Hope to also sing at the inauguration and perhaps at South By SouthLawn. Keep your fingers cross that we get a call back! Finishing up the final weeks of physical therapy with my son after major surgery for him in February. This has been a tough and tedious journey but he's powered through it. Once this hurdle is crossed, I'll be able to get back to the business of music. I'm not deterred by the delays and disappointments. I shall overcome them and get some of this fabulous music and spoken word out of my heart and head and onto your speakers asap! Continue to keep me in your thoughts as you share my music. Your kind words and gestures have been amazing and uplifting. I'm encouraged.
