The whole RAW DAWG ENT. empire didnt really get started until 2004. YKT and YOUNG ROCK CITY started a rap group called NO COMMENT RECORDS which consisted of 5 artist who recorded on a kareoke machine in a garage. NENO (ceo) who is YRC's older brother who was in the process of starting a label heard one of the tapes and asked for the artist to auditon. Three left and two stayed (Young Rock City and YKT). From there YKT hit the studio and the movement started. Meanwhile longtime friend of NENO, DAMIEN BLAZE was a local dj and heard the tracks and decided to join the empire, becoming the label's official dj. Later a mutual friend brought a starving mc (DECEMBER) to the label's (then a&r) Young Rock who after hearing the talent took him directly to label ceo NENO. And recently we hired a new a&r ANTHONY aka BoyMan also new to the label a new producer/ rapper Tha Mavrick and hood star Wayne County. And there you have it RAW DAWG IS IN THE BUILDING.
