I'll be adding new songs from time to time....stay tuned..............I was born the son of a Cape Breton coal miner. I called New Waterford, Nova Scotia my home for 21 years.
Growing up in the 60’s, the music of the Beatles, Hank Williams and even Rogers and Hammerstein created a lasting impression on me and my music. I formed my first band, The Templars, in high school and toured the local community clubs and halls, playing everything from British Invasion to American rock.
After graduation, I moved on to Hamilton, ON in ’69 to join my older brother, Brady. My brother’s band, The Rubber Band was later changed to The Clark Street Reunion. The group was now complete with me adding my groove as the bass man.
Through the years, I have continued playing in various bands in Ontario until I retired from the band business in 1998. But my passion was songwriting. From the time my music career began in high school, right through today, I have written over 300 songs. Many of these songs have been recorded with various bands and are catalogued with Socan.
