How I Got Started Is Right Here!
Thank you for all the support and love throughout all the projects and rehearsals. Most all my LIFE I have been centered, I know that my Spirit guides me; I Listen to that inner self.
Growing up after Graduation from High School, Attending 2yrs of College in Business and hanging out with my Friends as we get rapped up. Growing up was great for me. Sure, when you're young, please have all the fun you want. When you're in the 30's 40's and up, that's the time to decide what kind of LIFE you really are looking for.
What can I do to Improve That Life? These are questions I asked myself. (Little History)
As you experience growing into Adulthood, you see everything and learn the power to survive at all cost. I grew up in Baltimore, MD. I lived on the Westside of town. In the 60's not many Blacks lived there in the Neighborhood they called The Village. It was nice and racist at first. All the neighbors were White and really didn't like that too much. But the strange thing about that period of time, my Mother was Light Skin, more white than black. She is Half Black/White. My Grandmother daughter of a Slave her Mother. Our History is Long and not for here.
Luck and Faith brought me to this DAY. I didn't have to go out to look for it, It came to me in the form of a messenger, in a funny kind of way. Music Melodies and Writing has always been a part of me since the Ninth Grade. Just write in my 3 ring notebook all the time. Songs on the Radio I loved, I would write all the words and learn to sing them. Dancing has been a big part of growing up, I was the BEST DANCER at my High School of 842 students.
