About Re-2uned

Souljaa Saidul and Shaft are previous members of a band called Bengali Souljaaz. They formed the “2-man-band”, Re-2uned after Bengali Souljaaz broke up. They came up with the name “Re-2uned” (Retuned) for the purpose of clearing things up and starting fresh with a better approach to the modern music industry. The “2” in Re-2uned is written instead of “T” to symbolize the two members of the band, Souljaa Saidul and Shaft.

Souljaa Saidul and Shaft’s musical background dates back to late 2003. Making songs as hobbies, it soon turned out that people liked their work. Seeing the encouragement from friends, family and their Bengali community, they formed a band with three other members and came to call it Bengali Souljaa Records which became their record label title and therefore shortening the band name to Bengali Souljaaz. Their main goal was to display their talents within their Bengali community. However the band did not last long due to conflicts. But this did not stop the music for them. Seeing what they achieved in Bengali Souljaaz, Souljaa, Souljaa Saidul and Shaft decided they will take their music internationally and therefore forming Re-2uned.
