Okay okay, it isn't like, a NEW new just written just recorded song release... BUUUUT!!

This, along with my previous released 'Song In My Head' & 'Breezy' was another song I wrote and produced a handful of years back. This one, like the other 2 (as well as maybe a dozen others) were to be tracks on my WIP 2016ish TBD self produced & released album 'Finding Me' which sadly came to a stand still a few years back and even more sadly has not been revisited for the most part since then.

Although I would love to bite the bullet and just simply polish up, re-mix/master, tidy and even work on some edits on all songs that are/were meant for the album (aka Unfinished polished demos AND technically completed tracks), it is still up in the air for the moment.

But in the meantime while I contemplate the idea, I still can't help releasing select tracks meant for said album to number one music EXCLUSIVELY so that my followers here and on other main social networks can sample some of the tracks I had in store and am still planning to release as a whole at some point. Even if by then these tracks are considered 'old' to me... The beauty of unreleased music is that no matter how long ago I actually recorded it, if nobody has heard the songs until I release them, then they're still 'New' to the people who get to listen finally.

SO HERE IT IS!!!!! My 3rd song release from TBD ALBUM Finding Me, onto N1M just for you guys....!

Hey everybody!

Just a quick little post to let you know that I added yet another song to my page here; it's another cover song, no new originals uploaded yet as I am mostly working on album songs and so those won't be uploaded for awhile yet...

This song I recorded in 2013 (I was 19) with a talented young producer named Brooklyn (he had his own production company called 'BG Soldiers at the time) who was in need of a female voice for his production portfolio! Together we decided on what song I would cover, which ended up being the infamous pop-anthem "Give Your Heart A Break" by one of my major musical influences and favourite singers, Demi Lovato!

This was my first time ever recording a professionally produced, mixed and mastered track with somebody and I had just a great time tracking this song.

Now, I know I have uploaded a fair few covers to my page considering I am first, and foremost a songwriter, but! .... Unfortunately, until I can get my laptop working properly (or replaced.....) I am sadly unable to access and upload the majority of my recorded original song files-(however, they ARE available on SoundCloud!)-and so, my options for uploading songs (especially original ones) are somewhat limited to the MP3 files that I happened to have stored in my Dropbox and email accounts... for the time being anyway. :/

So, I do hope you enjoy this Demi Lovato cover, but if not, that's totally fine aswell, of course! It's got a more "produced" sound than I generally go for with my recordings, but the experience was so much fun for me when we finally got together to track it, and I was happy to help Brooklyn build his portfolio by adding a song sung by a female vocalist enabling him to further showcase not only his vast knowledge of music production, but also his genuine understanding that every vocalist has their own voice and their own sound. Different people, with different personalities, who have all found their own unique way of being heard when they're singing their hearts out- And Brooklyn seemed to really have a way of capturing that magic.

So, you may like it, you may not, but here it is!-- 5 1/2 years later-- My cover version of Demi Lovato's song,

Hello everyone! Just a quick message to update you of a new uploaded song!

Just added another original song to my n1m account! An acoustic live demo for this song.

I call it, "Songs That Make You Cry".

It's a few years old now, but was a good live demo that I added a teeny touch of reverb to after recording it live, and then released into SoundCloud, as is.

It's been up on one of my SoundCloud accounts for a good awhile now, but is still one of my favourite live demos I've ever recorded. And! It is now officially listen-able on more than one of my music sites/pages (2, to be exact. :P), that I share and promote my music on.

Hello to all my wonderful and magnificent and supportive subscribers!

We are nearing the end (ish) of January, the first month of 2017! I hope 2017 has been a friend to you all so far, or at least has been a decent start to this new year we've all dived into.

My January has been (for the most part) uneventful so far, however I do have a little update for you; an idea/plan that I've been wanting to put into action but have just been kicking around for awhile without making a serious effort to accomplish.... ;P :D ? (Haha #procrastination )

First though, I'd like to start off by again, thanking everybody that has been following me, because I appreciate it so so much! Thank you for continuing to support me, for helping me achieve the recognition I have so far, and for all the love, whether it be sharing my music with friends, or reaching out and writing messages to me so I can make personal connections with you, or posting reviews of my different uploaded songs so that I can recieve feedback to help me become a better musician! ... After all, every song play, rating, share, favourite, review and page visit is from you guys! So thanks! :)

Now, as for the update I wanted to share with you:

A couple of years ago I worked with some friends on a few professionally produced cover songs, under their indie music label "Hammer Records". As of right now only one of them has been released onto the web and that one is called "Somewhere Only We Know" by the band 'Keane'. (It's uploaded to soundcloud AND my N1M page-you may have already heard it, but if not feel free to check it out!)

The other two cover songs I recorded with them, were "Acapella" (Karmin) and "How You Remind Me" (the Avril Lavigne cover version of the song, that was originally Performed by Nickelback). These two songs I never released onto the web and so currently have not been heard by anybody other then the people I have showed them to personally, and my friends at Hammer Records (and anybody they may have shown) who produced and worked on the songs with me.

So I've decided that it's time to share the other two songs with you. I wasn't sure what order I wanted to release the two unreleased covers in, but have decided I will be releasing my cover of "How You Remind Me" first, followed by my "Acapella" cover sometime in the near future.

I am in the process of brainstorming ideas for creating some song artwork to go with the cover I will be uploading first. Once I am happy with whatever design I settle on, the track will be uploaded onto my page on N1M, and then shared/promoted so that I can begin to see what you all think of it! I'll also send out a quick newsletter to notify you all that the song is uploaded and ready for you to listen to!

Hello everybody! I have exciting news...!

I FINALLY mustered up the guts to release the FIRST SONG OFF MY UPCOMING 2017 ALBUM! (Finding Me), Currently EXCLUSIVE to (expired link)!

It's called "Song In My Head"!!

This track is a short, but spunky and energetic single bursting with fun that will give you a generous taste of the flavours my new album will bring to the table in 2017! (NOTE: exact Album release date is still unknown, but I am aiming and hoping to wrap up production by late spring 2017, and have the album locked and loaded for release by Mid-summer. That's the tentative schedule in my head anyway :P)

Now there are only a select few people who know me and my music personally, and so it is not a widely-known fact that this up-coming album of mine is actually a completely self-produced labour of love. In the last year-and-half, I've harvested a hungry passion for producing, and have developed a firm grasp on the ropes of producing the instrumentation and vocal recordings for my original songs. I am using the IPAD APP version of Apples' 'GarageBand', and Last year I purchased a beautiful USB condenser microphone to help me capture clearer, more crisp vocal takes to really bring my songs to life, as I am a passionate musician who experiences fantastic joy not just from writing and producing a great song/performing, but also from simply just singing my heart out.

And so, my wonderful subscribers, listeners, fellow musicians and music lovers, I am so overjoyed to share with you the first step of this whirlwind journey I've embarked on in the last year and a half- fully orchestrating my songs just as I've always imagined them, exercising complete creative freedom/control, spending countless, countless hours losing myself in the process, being involved in every aspect of production,on my own, from the lyrics to guitar/piano arrangements/melodies, to the instrumental production and vocal recordings/harmonies/back up vocals, to the mixing & mastering... beginning to end.

(And when I say countless hours... I MEAN countless. 6-7 songs almost/fully complete; 5-6 in production; more to come. I've spent 18-24 hours straight on several occasions just plugging away at one song or another, if I were to guess, I've probably invested anywhere between 250-350 hours-give or take- obsessing/fussing/mixing/re-mixing/re-recording/editing/programming EVERY instrument by hand, note by note (by note by note....) on an IPad Mini screen/exporting multiple mix-tests/filling up 4-5 notebooks with diligent, crazy production notes that nobody but me can even decipher, for each song/doing the 3 speaker tests (car/home stereo & headphones) for each mix of each song to ensure total satisfaction of everything...)

PHEW!! Some may think I'm loopy in the head but it'll all be worth it!

Originally I was going to release the title track of the album "Finding Me" as the first album single, however, I am still tinkering with the final mix/mastering of it, and don't want to rush it. However, I also decided that because "Finding Me" is such a personal, explanation of the albums' entirety, (being the title track and all,) I wanted to save it for closer to the actual album release, and so I chose instead to set "Song In My Head" free into the social-networking-wilderness to test the waters and hopefully get some feedback and buzz starting!

So without further adieu...

(adieu; being in THIS case: rambling/squirrel-mode chattering/essay writing/boring you all to death etc ;P)

Please (prettyprettyprettypleeeaasee!) take just 2 minutes and 10 seconds (song length) + 10-ish more seconds (length of time for loading song and putting your "music-reviewing-game-face"on) out of your day, or your tomorrow, or whenever you can spare a couple minutes, to check out this song I am sharing with you all today. It may or may not be your cup of tea, but my first response to it was from my dad, who used to produce my music, and he listened to it and put it on loop 5 times when he heard it just so he could keep listening.
